AboutMe

I love to play with words: to turn them this way and that; to read them aloud; to swap them around; to see how they look on a page; to savour them; to smile at them; to frown at them; to strip them down to their bare bones and to examine the intricacies of their every nuance, and then to dismiss or elevate them to serve in some capacity. I just love words! You can paint pictures with words. You can feel emotions through words. You can show off with words. You can be silly. You can be clever. You can inspire. You can do just about anything with words because words are simply awesome!

I like to work with words too, and that's why I'm a writer. During my career, I've employed words to produce press releases; newspaper and magazine articles and features; and research and other reports for organisations including the Ministry of Environment and Housing (Jamaica); Walsall Community Development Trust (UK); Ascension Trust (UK); Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation Ltd. (Antigua); Jamaica Baptist Reporter; Vine Magazine (UK); Institute For Leadership Development (Jamaica); Market Communications Ltd. (Jamaica).

In my personal life, I have employed words to produce poetry and short stories - funny pieces and serious ones - to the delight, entertainment and inspiration of friends, family and clients. I have written for Arts Council projects (UK) and contributed to various creative writing publications and competitions.

For as long as I can remember, I have been writing. Words are now my friends. So, if you have a project that requires words, I'm at your service to summon them to do your bidding, royally. Do feel free to contact me today.
